BLOOMRS At the highly trafficked intersection of Sunset Junction, in the Silverlake neighborhood of LA, an awkward triangular remnant lies dormant. Bloomrs is the winning proposal to insert a simple saddle-surface trellis into the stranded traffic island. Part public art, bus shelter, and micro-park, this permanent installation suggests that the Los Angeles grid is rife with design opportunity.
